He is well loved in my house and one of the currents displayed on the back of my couch so nobody wanders to far with him.  The dog doesn't seem interested in getting up on the couch so they are safe there; she's a kleptomaniac  Smiley

And the TT isn't really crocheted, he's a wire armature wrapped in fiberfill then wrapped in yarn.  Sometimes I stitch fabric on the body after the yarn but I liked the look of the two yarns together.  It would be somewhat easier to crochet the skin because all the stuffing would be covered but then I might not get the exact shape i am after.

Oh Whysteria, I'm so worry that his wing broke.. I'm glad you were able to repair it without much trouble Sad
I hope you enjoy the book! I considered keeping it for myself Wink

LauraM:Yes, king of - the centre beads reminded me of dragon eyes, so I decided to call them dragon eye stitch counters. I fell in love with the little gold beads, so i had to include them too.

Sadly, I have not heard from my partner- so I am going to post pictures of the HTTYD stuff I crafted for her, because Im pretty happy with how it turned out!

The first is a hand painted box and four coasters. It was my first time making coasters, and I am really happy with how they turned out. I put felt on the back,so they looked really finished. The box has Viking runes for the names of the dragons that my partner liked. Pictured is Night Fury and Hiddeous Zippleback, but Thunderdrum and Monstrous Nightmare were also onthe box. The box top has Astrid and Hiccup, and the inside was all painted. The pictures were before I touched it up- when sealing it, I was silly and touched it, and made the paint smear. I forgot to get pictures after I touched it up.

As much as I really liked the coasters and box- I also hand painted a tote bag. I loved how this turned out, and will probably have to make another one for me. Especially since we just passed a plastic bag ban that will be in effect soon!

I had a good time crafting for this, even though I didn't make everything I wanted to! And, I hope that my partner liked what I made as well.
