This is a good way to use up lots of scraps of fabric, some skewers, and an old jar

Yes - you don't have to be super talented to make these. The busier the print, the better.
Just pick 3 round things of varying sizes and trace them for a template. I used a CD for the biggest sized one, a cardboard end off a ribbon spool for the middle one, and a juice can lid for the smallest one. This is a bouquet of 12, so make 36 fabric circles. Baste around the edge of each circle and pull the thread so it gathers, then tie off a knot. I found it easier to push the skewer through the fabric if I used a carpentry nail to make a pre-hole. A blop of hot glue holds it all together. To make "leaves" I took a green ribbon and tied it into a bow and glued it to the skewer. If you want colourful "stems" I just painted them multiple colours. They look cooler that way. Try making them, they're fun!

Thank You! I also found another idea to take this one step further. I painted the inside of the glass jar a pale blue colour. It REALLY made a difference! I might make another & update with a pic - you'll see for sure! Smiley
