Hanging out in the woods

I recently participated in my first official swap - hoooorah !

My partner needed a standalone container for her knitting needles and crochet hooks, and as she had a young child I wanted to combine that need with the obvious need to quickly tidy away all scraps of craft projects when there are little fingers about.

I chose the fabric as she is rather into puzzles. !!!!  It is a cube shame and can flat pack down (as shown in the photo) I also managed to pick up some wooden puzzle pieces from the charity shop (my favourite place), and getting hisself to drill me some holes meant I could adorn the box with real puzzles.

Of course, had to use that little bit of left over fabric to make a sewing needle pouch too !

So - the box in its full glory

Showing the puzzle piece adornments.

And...................................... (drum roll) fully flat packed

All feedback greatfully recieved !

LATEST project - I'm compiling a "handed down" recipes boom and so if I get you in a swap, would you be so kind to find a recipe from your childhood. type it up - if you want to decorate, then please do :

This is a clever design--thanks for sharing it!  it looks like it holds quite a lot and would keep one organized!

The little embellishments sure add a personal touch for your swap partner as well!

For the record, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

I'm not sure it will ever be flat, though, as I am thinking it will be in constant use...

Thanks, P_E_S_T!

Love this!! I love storage ideas and this one is great. I love that it folds up...you could make a ton of these for different projects. Love the needle holder.

It's a neat design. It would be useful to have one in the trunk of the car, folded and waiting for use.
