More updates from this weekend!!

Sunday we went to John's Pass which is a boardwalk and mostly touristy shopping area and also Madeira Beach which is across the street from John's Pass.

Shark Week: It's a bad week to be an anthropomorphic pineapple!

More/larger here: http://anana-visits-florida.blogspot.com/2013/08/johns-pass-madeira-beach.html

And because I had so many pics, I made a separate post for our drive home. We took the scenic route along Gulf Blvd which travels along the coast back up through Clearwater Beach.

Philadelphia Phillies player, Ryan Howard is apparently building a MASSIVE 34,000 square foot home on the beach side. The arrow is pointing to a tiny portion of it. (You can read more about it here if you're curious.)

More/larger pics here: http://anana-visits-florida.blogspot.com/2013/08/scenic-gulf-blvd-and-clearwater-beach.html

It was SO hot but we had a nice afternoon. Grin

Violet-Anne and I went to a mini-faire, where the performers get to practice their acting before the actual fair.  But we got there early because we had to drop off our fairy house by 5, and the judging didn't start until 6.

Dropping off the house:

Then we got to wander around the empty fair:

I forgot to post when I updated Riki's blog  Undecided

Here are some photos from our geocaching adventures in and around where we live  Cheesy Magda put us onto it and we have seen some beautiful parts of our local neighborhood we wouldn't normally have seen - and some interesting historic cemeteries - we seem to have a high percentage of caches in old cemeteries  Shocked

As always more on Riki's blog http://ecoli-travels.blogspot.com.au/2013/08/newby-geocachers.html  Grin

Alby came with me to the pottery studio today. I unleashed Mr. CT with a camera and these are the photos that he came back with. Cheesy

These were made by my friend Michael.

I threw these today. I'm experimenting with different shapes.

Hiding in a basket of mustaches. Grin

Alby met one of the naked lady torsos in the gallery. Shocked

Another piece of sculpture in the gallery.

Hanging out with my gnome. (His hat broke off and I just haven't had the inclination to deal it yet.)
