We haven't done much exciting lately Sad But we've been keeping busy with day to day life:
We went shopping because the sales started and D'ood helped carry the bags Wink

and we went on a 'school'trip to a swimmingpool (don't worry D'ood stayed dry):

and i've been working on a present for a friend with D'ood's company:

Sunday we went to Brooker Creek Preserve. Unlike most parks in the area, this one is almost entirely wetlands. You walk along elevated boardwalks through pristine, untouched Florida wetlands. We got to explore for about an hour and a half and still only saw about 1/2 of it before a typical Florida summer thunderstorm came rolling in and we had to run for it. (DSLR's and thunderstorms are a bad combination! LOL)

More/larger pics here: http://anana-visits-florida.blogspot.com/2013/07/brooker-creek-preserve.html

The preserve is open 7 days a week but the education center and gift shop are closed Sundays and we didn't even finish all the trails so we may have to go back! It's really neat. Very surreal being so right in the middle of untamed wilderness so close to really urban populations.

It has been many quiet days for us, but I'm calling it the calm before the storm, since our vacation starts tomorrow. But hey... we got fresh cucumbers from Dad's garden. That's something.

A couple other photos from this quiet week here:

Packing to head down to visit my hometown for RoundUp Weekend.  Might squeeze more fun in, assuming traffic will co-operate.

Phoenix, I love love love love love the place!

Also, Aussie has arrived during night. He brought TONS of pictures, they all look beautiful (now I'm really envious!) but it will take me some time to put it all together into a post... which is bad because tomorrow we are leaving for another week to the mountains of Southern Bohemia where we won't have an access to Internet so if I don't manage it today, twice as many pictures will come in about 9 days.

Ok ladies, I did it! Here: http://aussie-in-bohemia.blogspot.cz/2013/07/greece-cradle-of-european-culture-and.html are almost 100 pictures from Aussie's trip to Greece. Picking some of them for the album will be difficult Smiley

This is Aussie at the Tree of Hippocrates - the tree under which, according to legend, Hippocrates tought his pupils medicine.

Artemis, I suppose.

They also visited local volcano:

I'll be here next week with photos from national park umava!

PaperBeau - the Assen MotoGP race looks awesome!

I love that we have so many repeat LV's in this swap. It's so cool to see LV's that we've hosted out exploring the world. Maybe I'm just weird lol
