I actually started this project after finding the pattern (http://www.spritestitch.com/?p=2898), and completed 4 letters and packed it away. I recently moved and found it sitting in the bottom of a box, and decided it needed to be finished!

I didn't follow the colour chart, as I wanted to use up what colours I had, and believe it or not, I only had to buy some more black! And I didn't do the bush border, as, well, I got a bit lazy Wink

Anyway, here it is, ready to hang on my two little boys bedroom wall tomorrow (sorry about the pic, had to use my phone as my camera broke in the move).

I absolutely love love quilts, do you think an afghan is a fair trade for a quilt? I'd love to swap!

Thanks for the replies, my 5 year old daughter was a bit upset when she found out it wasn't going in her room, so I promised her I would make her a princess Zelda one Wink

Very cute! This must have taken some serious time to complete.

My daughter would love this!  May I ask how many strands of embroidery thread did you use?

That is adorable! I have a son who was way into Zelda, and I might try something like this for his room. He's 22, but he would still love it! Great job.
