Been crafting away as well. I am sad to say I had to abandon a project and substitute for a different idea I had. Mainly because the materials required have recently gone through a "modernization" and no longer work the way I need. Can't find the old stuff anywhere! I even tried an alternative medium,  but it came out a little .... awkward and falling off. I was a little sad. Oh well, on to something better for my partner!

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

libertine - I hate when a product updates and then isn't as good as it used to be.  That's happened to me several times while crafting!

I always think I'll send early and I  usually send on the sendout day too. Smiley

so far everything is coming along slowly but smoothly.  I've had to reign myself in a little bit.... there's so many Doctor Who possibilities out there to craft... LOL

I might be in for a marathon crafting session. I just came up with a new awesome idea for a large that I don't think I can pass up. Need to dig in my stash to see if I have most of what I need.

I can't believe people are sending!!!!
My large is done. My medium still needs the finishing treatments. (actually I think my medium could be two mediums and a small but I'm a little crazy so just one set looked like not enough) My small isn't even started!

I'll probably be sending the last day too.

Think I'll definitely be sending the last day. This large was a bit overly ambitious for me I think! I am loving how it's turning out though. Almost done! Cheesy

I also finally had a chance to watch this most recent episode. I actually really enjoyed it! I wasn't feeling Clara so much in the previous episode but really liked her in this one. I think she's going to be a really good companion and I'm loving all the crazy theories about who she actually is. Smiley I liked that this episode we finally left Earth for a bit and it had alot of the fun fast paced Doctor I know and love as well as the serious note and helping people. Just really enjoyed watching it and I've been kind of lackluster about the last two seasons so it made me really happy.

She believed she could, so she did.

I agree. I was happy that they finally left Earth, and I LOVED The Doctor's monologue to the princess. I don't want to ruin it for anyone, but I like Clara and I am hoping this story line keeps the mystery going.

My box is all packed up and ready to go. I struggle with the whole making-it-to-the-post-office part of swapping. The one near my house is small and closed on Saturdays, and with working, sometimes the post office hours aren't my friend.  Undecided  I will make it though. I promise!  Grin

Well, my plans to drop my package into the mail today have been thwarted. I have all the crafting done, but I woke up this morning sicker than I've been in a long time. I'm feeling a lot better as of right now, but I don't want to get my hopes up too high- I don't think there's any substance left in my digestive system right now, so it could be once I have more food and water in me I'll feel awful again- and I don't want to be handling my swap gifts today so I don't contaminate them. Smiley Hopefully I'll be feeling better and able to send tomorrow.
