Today when I arrived home from a very sad weekend, there was a beautiful hoop waiting in my mail box from llisaredd.  It really helped cheer me up!


                   


There is thread, ribbon and beads in my lovely garden.

I love the flowers on that hoop. They really pop!

Editing to add the hoop that I received from Shana82 a couple days ago. She made a cute little tree out of buttons  Still waiting on my other partner but I can't wait to see what she comes up with!

the garden full of flowers is just WOW!  it was my first foray into any embriodery and was very scared to try silk ribbon thread - you have inspire me heaps now! ( i got a 2nd hand book from the market from the 70s?80s? for a dollar on these techniques - took me ages to figure out even the flowers on thecatseye glasses i sent!!) This is a spectacularly beautiful hoop!

i received from mcook today!!  i LOOOOOVE it -it so suits me - it depicts my little ( theo - i think cos its wearing blue) climbing up a snowcapped mountain!i think the dog and the cloud are ?shrinkydinks?  and the mountains are made fromfelt   the photos dont do it justice!!

I'm so glad you like the flower garden Homerof2 Ribbon embroidery was fun and I plan to do more. My daughter did not want that hoop to go out so I guess I'll have to make her a garden now! I have to say that I also really liked the background. It is watercolor on fabric. Really a fun technique!

Oops, I meant to mention that but in my excitement over the hoop I totally forgot.  It's going to hang over my computer desk, in my craft room so I get to look at its beauty each day!

WOW! Such awesome and creative hoops! They are all so different and use really different techniques!  I really love the silk ribbon flowers - I've always wanted to try silk ribbon embriodery!

I just went thru the gallery again and man am I glad I did because somehow the first time I missed that FABULOUS hoop by deathbeforedishes! WOW! Those are some mad skillz girl!
