I had this painting I started last spring but had a hard time with the face...it was inspired by a picture i saw in a catalogue. Finally I decided to finish her once and for all! LOL! I ended up going with a model in a magazine ad for the face...

("Cold Moon" acrylic on 8"x10"canvas board)
I'm not totally happy with the hair but that is one area I still need to improve upon! Since, that was finished I was inspired to paint a couple more!
This one had a second round to it as well since i wasn't happy with the right side of the painting...I'm still not quite happy with it either lol!

("A Northern Night" acrylic on 8"x10" canvas board)

Next I tried for a little mix of paint and paper for this one!

("Hare Moon" acrylic and paper on 8"x10" canvas board)
I used some fun shimmery metallic paints for the background! I like how this turned out...different anyways!
Thanks for looking and any helpful hints would be great!

Lovely work, mandykaye!   Smiley  Hare Moon is my favorite.  What kind of glue do you use to adhere the paper elements to the painted?
