Another attempt at embroidery...I am slowwwly working toward fancy stitches. This was made for a private swap and it took a few weeks, working off and on. After the embroidery part was completed, it looked rather boring so I added the Doctor's Converse and 3D glasses.

The entire hoop:

And the back:

I can officially say it's more gorgeous in person. Soooooo well done. It may need a wall of its own to display in my house Smiley

Heh, check your PM inbox for my full response to the hoop. There's a lot of squeeing involved.

And no! You are not spoiling me with any more presents. I owe you an extra craft for this hoop because as much as I like the hoop I sent you it doesn't even fit in the same category of awesome as this. Crafty goodies will arrive at your door in the near future.

The 10th Doctor is my first.  He-he... He looks so sexy in the picture you chose. And you did a great job of stitching him up perfectly!

This rocks! I've been wanting to try a portrait like this...this is good inspiration. And this just proves you don't need to know "the fancy stitches" to make an awesome embroidery piece!

This is AMAZING! I wish, wish, WISH I could embroider - I'm stuck with cross-stitch.  Undecided  I love x-stitching, but somehow it never looks as realistic as embroidery. You did a fantastic job. The 10th Doctor is my FAVORITE. This ROCKS!
