The gypsy/Mexican embroidery quilt is so fun to look at; so colorful!

The space quilt is awesome!  I love the textures.  Is it all from the fabric or is there stitching or beads or something on the sides of the rocks/mountains?  The whole thing is just so cool!

The rocks are appliqued with satin stitch. There are a few places to the right that have black netting over the rocks to add darker shading. The tips are colored a bit with white crayon to make them lighter too. Here is a close up shot so you can see what I mean.

The gryffindor quilt is great,  I love geeky quilts.
The Mexican style quilt is beautiful.
I wish the space quilt was my view, it is very awesome.

Hey everyone check out the wonderful MAQ I received from WhistleFish:
She choose my "Christmas Table Square" Theme and as you can see it turned out awesome! Grin

Looking back over my questionnaire I felt kind of guilty about how demanding of a partner I was.  I wanted a table square, I wanted it to be viewable from every angle (for all the people sitting around the table) and I wanted it to look good on its own or underneath some other decoration (like a bouquet of flowers).
But WhistleFish fulfilled all of my demands and made the most adorable, whimsical, jolly creation.  I could not be more pleased.

Here you can see some of the detail.  The center is full of stars and there are all sorts of different kinds of neat stitch-work around each of the houses and trees.  I especially like the stitches on the evergreens.  It makes it look like they have snow on their branches.   Grin

Thank-you, WhislteFish.  I just love it!

That's such a nifty design for the table square! Sometimes having a partner with lots of wishes for their item makes it a lot easier to come up with things Wink Your partner did a fantastic job! I love that teal fabric and the stars sewn on top, and all the embroidered edges are fantastic Smiley

I LOVE that maq from WhistleFish. I love the Christmas-yness of it, the tiny houses, the skiy fabric, the quilted stars, and all the stitches she used!
