I quickly threw this quilt together the other night for a present for my 5 year old's birthday. The quilting is just a zigzag stitch using the largest settings that I ran up and down, and then across it diagonally. It didn't come out quite how I thought it would, but that's okay. I also didn't quilt very evenly spaced, or even with straight lines. However, as my son has a habit of ruining his blankets by chewing holes in them, I'm not to worried that it didn't come out 'perfect'.

Cute.  This fits perfectly with the origins of quilting.  Get it done to keep the family warm.  I bet he loves it.
