Why aren't you guys posting what holidays these are for? I gots to know!

Crazyda, why would you have to wait until everyone receives to start the next month's round? If you do that then there won't be enough time to craft each month!

I do not have to wait for everyone to receive but at the time, I had no swap spots open so I was hoping that if everyone received in this one or at least most everyone had sent and received then I could open a spot.  But as of right now, I have a spot open so I will be opening up March's swap tonight.  I will have sign-ups for a week and sendouts the first of the month.  I know it is short but this is supposed to be a fast turn around swap. Smiley  We will get back on track.

I received from Leighi123 while I was away for the weekend.

Bake for family fun month:

Super cute matching apron's for me and both of my daughter's!  Their aprons have their names on them!

Sorry about the bad lighting.

I received last week from OllieOrange... sorry I took so long to take and post pics. The photo frame glass broke and was all over the bottom of the box, and I didn't clean the mess till tonight. Sad Anyhow... the picture is fine!

In no particular order:
Squirrel Day: a finger towel with a squirrel for my "surrogate daughter's" bathroom. She's squirrel crazy!
Mind a Broken Heart Day/Month: Needle felted heart and rose quartz in a little bag.
Read in the Bathtub Day: Bath bombs with rosemary, sunflower oil, and lavender (a partial one is pictured. There's a bag full, but they're crumbly, so I left them out of the pic and in the bag). Also: a decoupaged candle.
Library Lovers Day: 2 bookmarks and a photo with embroidered travel mark and saying "The World is a Book and those that do not travel read only a page".

I think it's also great that she tied so many items into old world maps and travel (one of my other days was "Peace Corps Day" due to my love of travel and world cultures). Oh yeah... and bonus "you're one in a billion" chocolate bar Smiley

mom2em - love the dr seuss wall art
leighi123 - how cute are those cupcake aprons
ollieorange - love all the crafts using old maps

and here are the wondrous crafts crazyda79 sent to me - I love the odd holidays she picked  Smiley

Firstly - an awesome decoupaged puppy themed photo frame - attempted to get photos with the 2 of them but they absolutely hate having a camera pointed at them. Now if I was offering a liver treat that would be a different story!!

There was also a groundhog day/punxatawny phil mini hoop (Groundhog Day - a movie I watched too many times to count), altered penguin fridge magnet (Penguin Awareness Day), the yummiest looking pistachios (National Pistachio Day) and my very own Once Upon a Time scrapbook/art journal (Tell A Fairytale Day).

Thank-you so much crazyda79 - you made my months!!

I received my awesome package from Jexxican!!

Firstly, she sent me this great yarn inspired by "cow milked while flying in an airplane day":

How cool is that? The colors are inspired by the holiday (b/w for the cow, blue for the sky, fluffy white for the clouds). I have to struggle not to drop all my other projects and start knitting with it!

Secondly, lookit this awesome hoop for Pluto day:

I love it! I can finally start my hoopla wall. Smiley

Thirdly, she sent me this super cute needlebook, which is perfect because I REALLY needed one:

I'm already putting it into use... did I mention how much I needed a needlebook? I can now celebrate "Appreciate a dragon day" every day.  Grin

And finally, she also sent along supplies for guerrilla bird-feeding!

I don't really have a yard to put a bird-feeder in right now, so she sent me pinecones, peanut butter, bird seed, and instructions to get out of the city and go find some birds!

The whole shebang, along with odd holiday calendar pages:

Awesome! Thanks so much, Jexxican!!!

Whatever happened to the ongoing hoopla swaps?
