I may not be online this weekend, my desktop took a dive and I have to try to fix it.  I'm posting from work (shhhhh!) right now, but I'll have to work on a nook tablet and my phone if I can't get the pc running. Smiley

Gah, really crawling through this large right now since apparently certain skills of mine are even slower when working with ___. Hopefully things will speed up when I finally get past this step. >.<

I haven't made anything new, just checking in. I'll be away for a few days, hope I can still finish a bit early since my package has to cross an ocean...

That sucks about your computer, Sevs!  Thank goodness nowadays, we have so many more options to use to go online with.

I didn't wrap up the items for this swap today.  Maybe tomorrow.  Already figured out how I'm going to do my reveal!  Cheesy

Making progress

I don't have any children. I do have two nieces. Being a librarian I've always given books to my nieces as presents. They are 2 years old and 6 months old.

Last time I visited my niece we read Pigeon wants a puppy, Clifford, and Max and Ruby make a cake. She loved them. We also sang Brown Bear to the pages. I also bought her Flotsam for her to read. I helped her learn how to turn the pages.

So my question is .... If u have children - what are their favourite books
And what are you favourite books to read to them ?
My son (7) loves fact finding books and anything to do with wildlife
He and my youngest (5) have just got to that stage where they can take longer books - so we are all enthralled with the world of narnia ! Over to you

I have 2 kids. The 8mo old listens when I read to sister and gets board books read to him. The 3yr old loves books. I read her chapter books sometimes (most recently the BFG by roald dahl). I have been letting her pick a few each night off the kindle to read lately. She reads to herself with her tag reader. My fave kids authors are
Roald Dahl
Shel Silverstein
Beverly Cleary
