Just sent in my questionaire to join this round. It is my first time so I hope I can keep track of the point system correctly!!! I have watched other rounds and knew eventually I would have to jump in.

I am happy to see new shops in the mix! I am slacking on the sign up because I didn't make new things yet, I wanted new and exciting crafts and have only been making things for myself ha ha, if I get off my lazy butt I will make some new things for my shop!

Sooo.... I still haven't opened my shop yet. Gosh I feel like such a slacker. I am working on some new art pieces, but I can't seem to find the time to actually finish them and take photos. That is my goal for this weekend!

So..thinking of joining in for the first time. I wanted to know first if anyone would be interested in these flowers I made from old ties:

I left the backs undone for now, so they could be a pin or a hair flower depending on which clip I finish them with.

I was also thinking of offering some thread catchers like this one:

what do you guys think? what other stuff is eveveryone looking for? I'd like to offer some stuff that is different. Thanks!

Slow shopping so far this round!   Cheesy

Speaking of shopping, my SIL and I went on a quilt shop hop yesterday.  It was so much fun.  We drove about 250 miles, visited  the 4 shops participating in the hop, and spent far too much money, but it was a blast!  The shop closest to home (65 miles from here) had grab bags for sale -- it was like Christmas!  I got so many awesome patterns and fabrics and buttons and cute pins buttons and pincushions and pincushion patterns and . . .  Her shop was the reason we went, but the other three were interesting as well.  And there's always the chance I'll win one of the door prizes or a gift certificate or two!  Cheesy  Our journey really helped my cabin fever!  We had good clear roads, too, which was awesome!

I'm working on an OWS claim today and have to get going on LeapFeetFirst's package for IYP.  I have my plans drawn up, but need 5 or 6 uninterrupted hours to put things together!  And if someone could help me with color selections, that would help too!  Cheesy
