I recently found an old stuff n puff quilt booklet.  I decided to try one of the patterns.  These are the old quilts where each piece is sewn like a little pillow and then stuffed, all of the stuffed pieces are then sewn together.  Of course I had to try it just like grandma would have with old double knit polyester fabric.  It puffs better.  That of course limited my fabric choices to what was at the thrift store.  I used two similar navy fabrics to make the centers of the blocks.

You've given an old pattern a really fun, modern feel.  Awesome!  Smiley  Hooray for thrift-shop "upcycling", too!
