Wow! That1girl, you've been busy!

Yofi, I may just have to make the Wild Things Rumpus hat for my 2 yr old son. Totally adorable!!!

Joining late, but surpassing us all!  Awesome hats, that1girl; welcome!

Finishing up my second Admiral Anja hat later this week.  The first one was a bit more pointed than I'd expected, so I took out 6 rows on this one.  I love the colorwork on this one!

Yofi--I have always admired colorwork...but I am not sure how to carry the yarn so as not to make it too stringy or too tight inside..is there a tip you can share?  Do you mark off on your pattern?  I would like to try a small colorwork pattern...do you have a beginner one you can recommend?

The tangled hat sounds very interesting--do you have a pic or a pattern link?

Here are the pictures. The tangled hat is just a plain beanie with a lace crochet border. I added a flower and 2 long braids. I am not sure if it qualifies as a true "tangled" hat but my daughter seems to think so, and many compliments were made:).

Cute hats! And the "too small newborn" hat -- I've made a few of those!  The angry birds hat is really cute.  Look forward to seeing more!

Always -- I've only done a few colorwork projects, and am still picking up tips.  My biggest problem was the threads pulling too tightly, so as I knit, I push the completeld stitches way down on the right needle, stretching that out.  Sometimes it leaves you a little too loose, but better too loose than too tight!
