Hi guys

any help regarding cameos would be greatly appreciated. I wondered if anyone knows where I can buy a wide range of cameos from, not just pre-made ones but somewhere that allows you to send your own designs in to be made as well.

I currently buy off a supplier on Etsy but the ones shown in the photo as well as a few others are not available from her anymore but they are some of my best sellers to need a new supplier for them.
With regards to the designing your own I know she does this and sells her designs on Etsy but I would like to have my own designs made up to make some more unique jewellery pieces for my business.

I have searched high and low on Google for somewhere that can do this without any luck but have got my fingers crossed someone on here will know.

I can't see that pic very well, but from what I saw on your etsy, this store would seem to have all the supplies http://www.cameojewelrysupply.com/PLATED-Settings-Bezels-Frames-C55.aspx

I have ordered some cameos from this website before (never the custom) and they are really beautiful.  They also sell custom designsbut the minimum is high (600 peices) and there is also a mold fee the first time, so depending on how much buisness you do it may or may not be helpful. http://www.jewelryfindings-online.com/customcameos.htm

i'd look on ebay, i've seen a lot of the cameos sold on etsy on ebay, i can't see the details on that pic so i can't tell you if i've seen that exact one but its worth a shot.

and if you wanna do your own design you might wanna try comissioning a mold from someone on craftster, i know i've seen a few people on here make their own cameos out of their own designs then make a mold and make copies out of poly clay or resin

Hi guys

thank you for your help so far. A couple of the sites you have given me have got a few of the cameo designs I buy from my current seller but they are the same price so I think I will stick to a supplier I know and the ones she no longer sells aren't available.

Thank you for letting me know somewhere that do custom cameos (they are a bit out of my price range though). I know my current supplier has them made somewhere like Hong Kong or China, I just cannot locate somewhere that does this at all

Thanks for your help though and if anyone else has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it

oh yeah if your current supplier is out of China, you're gonna have a really hard time finding someone else that can match their prices, supplies out of china are crazy cheap.

can you post a bigger picture of the designs that your supplier no longer makes? this way i can keep an eye out when i'm wondering around the internet and let you know if i see them somewhere else

My supplier is from the USA but I know she buys her stock from somewhere like China or Hong Kong, I just cannot find someone who might be her supplier to kind of cut out the middle man and save a bit of money.

I have managed to find better photos of the two designs she has stopped selling.

The black & cream owl cameos are 25mm x 18mm

The flower cameos are 30mm x 40mm and come in purple, grey, yellow, blue, red, orange, light pink, dark pink & cream

Hope you can see these better and thanks for your help guys

I've never bought from this site. But, here's a bunch that look similar to your photo...

i use ebay or etsy... if you want a custom design, search etsy... or make it yourself!!!!

make your finished product that you would like to produce many times and then bake it and then make a mold for it... and then make them all yourself :-)

i think you can buy mold supply kits on ebay/craft stores?

Pour yourself a drink, put on some lipstick, and pull yourself together.
