what's a screencap?

I put the DVD in my computer and put it on a scene that I wanted the costume from. When it reached a certain point, I would pause the movie and hit PrntScrn then paste the image to Photoshop. After cropping out unneeded bits, I saved the image to my computer for reference.

That's how I got the lovely image for our thread, of Jareth with his ballroom dancing comp number pinned to his back. It was a screen grab from the behind-the-scenes documentary on my dvd. Cheesy
