Oh geez, looks like I took on more than I was supposed to. I wasn't supposed to sign up for any swaps this month so I could deep clean my house but right now I have 4 swap packages due starting Jan 19 through Feb 1. How about if I get them all out and haven't signed up for anymore before the SUs close for this I will join. I don't need any ore critters, but maybe I do? I so loved the 2 I made last round.

I would LOVVEEE to play this time, but I can make sock monkeys now (YAY!!!)  But I can't make the clothes, so my monkey would be a basic monkey....

If you can make the monkey, you can make the outfit!  The "official" sock monkey how-to book (an updated reproduction of the original from the company that created the red heel socks) has several pages of diagrams for easy-to-do garments that can be be elaborated upon or just made simply but fun with the right fabric, depending on the character or style.  In addition to monkeys AND clothes, the book also shows you how to make all kinds of sock critters -- well worth the $10 price.    http://www.sockcompany.com/foxrihowtoma.html

Looking forward to another round!
Guess Im at the right spot!! lol Here to craft an' chat!! woohoo!!!

I am very interested in this swap. The quality and creativeness of the creations from previous swaps is a little daunting though! I have crocheted a sock monkey before, but never actually made one from socks, so this would be a fun challenge for me.
