So, here's my newest creation.  Silly, a little naughty, and kind of weird that when I thought of decorating pumpkins, this is where my mind went!  Cheesy

Title: Amateur night at Veggieville's Melon Rouge
Medium: Artists Oils

Not surprisingly, this quirky idea is 100% my own.  From idea to sketch to completed ATC.  lol

It always makes me giggle because, seriously, she has no boobies, and what would a pumpkin have under her teeny black panties anyways?  lol  (But apparently something that one pumpkin would pay a serious chunk of change to see!  lol)

My favorite part are her lips and her shoes.  Pretty sexy for a pumpkin.   Grin

She'll keep all of her money in her big round "penny bank like" body but, with lots more than pennies apparently.  Cheesy

Her lips and shoes do look awesome. I think it's the best part of this piece!! Great Job!

It kinda reminds me of these California Raisins with faces. My grandma used to collect them.http://www.timelesstrinkets.com/Other/California-Raisins-Contents.html

But, your drawing is WAY better!!

Your sense of humor cracks me up, and the fact that you painted that! Wow! Such tiny details!

Being raised hyper-religious in nineteen-eightees California, I probably had a different reaction to the California Raisins.  Seriously, I was too young to realize they were raisins.  All I knew was that rock music was of the devil, and that those wrinkly black blobs were some sort of demon emissaries from the pits of hell itself---with horribly malformed bodies, peddling Satan's music like candy, and tricking all God's innocent children into devil worship.  lol

Fortunately, I grew up.

Maybe, somewhere in my subconscious mind, this flagrantly defiant pumpkin has emerged to give my childhood nightmares the bird.  lol
