The scalloped edges are a nice touch.

Aren't they, though? I so wish I'd thought of that! Sad

But your raven flag from Cabaute, flyraeven, is my favourite in this gallery. What wonderful colours!!

Holy cow, that is a lot of flags today, I turn my back for a couple hours and I come back to an explosion!

I really love the quote on the flag that Melissaurus received, and the scene is quite enchanting!

The hand on the wonder flag is really cool. I like the double sided-ness of it Tongue

Oh wow! That transformation flag is so gorgeous! I love the backside Smiley Another amazing flag from Cabaute!

Abbeeroad, I can't imagine how long you spent sewing on little bells on not one, but two flags! I really like the background fabric you chose on that flag too Smiley

At my craft meetup today, I decorated a stick to hang my flags from in the house. I already have it hanging, but I want to get some metal bits to add some extra whimsy to the stick before I share it. I also need to find an inkjet printer to print the copies of my flags onto transfer paper so my hanging looks fuller Tongue

Thanks, everybody - just playing with the stitches on my machine. I did it in the last swap.

And wow-wee! What a lot of gorgeous flags. Love the Transformation one and the nature quote one.

How did you do the silhouette of the hands?

I Googled "hand silhouettes," found one I liked, resized, printed, cut it out, and used it as a template Smiley

Thanks Pioneer9.  I love the raw and simplicity of it.

I'm glad you liked it! Hope it wasn't too simple-- everyone else here is putting me to shame with their awesomeness.

nope! I really enjoy seeing the beauty in simple things.  We (hubby and I) really like this flag, love is what has gotten us through a lot of tough stuff and this is a great reminder of the journey we have made together.  Thanks!

Ok, I've gotten way behind in commenting on each flag, but I really truly love them all! So many different techniques and ideas, we are a lucky bunch of swappers!! Cheesy

I started making a list of all the things I was loving in this gallery and I had to just stop because my post would have gone on forever! There are so many amazing flags in this gallery! I loved our first round but this round by far has so much more! It's like we got a feet wet last time and now we just all dived in!

A few things I really loved were Alice, the moth and lace, and the houses with the sushi grass! Smmarrt your use of that plastic grass was great! I loved it!

Everyone is making such beautiful things! I can't wait to see more!!!

I have to say, every time I'm in a swap, I realize how unskilled I am as a crafter...  I love all the new flags so much--so many beautiful variations.  I continue to try, and can only hope that my skill and competence will improve over time.  I feel like my imagination always outmatches my ability.

I always feel the same - my thinking always seems so literal and never as creative as I think it should be, especially when I see what everyone else comes up with.  It is something I am trying to work on.

My basement is finally finished - Craft room on one side, Bar on the other side.  Why would I ever want to come back upstairs?

I've been having fun showing my unfinished flag off around town. High reviews everywhere. It's finished now and going out in the mail tomorrow! (I just really really needed positive feedback because it's a new craft experience)
