Taramor, I don't know what Christmas crack is or where it's from, but it looks good. Could you explain what's inside?

Sure, it is a wonderful sweet, made by fellow crafster Mistress Jennie: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=283916.0#axzz2nrjEHzUI . We love it, and makes a batch every year.

That1girl - I love the colours of your hat. The pale green and blues are like a winter-sky. And: good job on making pillows and covers for your sofa.

I am so impressed that you got so many projects done...and lots of them knitted and crocheted, that1girl!!

Christmas crack is a tradition at our house, too...simple and so delicious!

Reaching for the final goal I set for myself...not there yet, but oh so close...

Three doggie-themed big bibs for my great-nephew:

Side one:

Side two:

I also made a huge NY Giants fleece blanket for my brother but forgot to take a picture before I wrapped it up. I'll get one after Christmas.

I am at 122 projects....three to goal!!

That1girl, I love your mittens. They do have a "cap" on the end of the fingers, don't they? I like this design and their comfy, homemade look.

Taramor, thanks for the recipe. This crack looks just perfect for cold weather.

Alwaysinmyroom, I like how big your bibs are and the cute dog fabrics and the appliqued.

OK, I am so far behind the first page I looked at was back at Thanksgiving!  Here is what I've added to my list for Nov/Dec.

74.  MORE Chickens.  (24)

75.  More pumpkins (6)

76.  Embroidered Napkins (44 in all)

77.  Embroidered tablecloth.

78.  Quilted bag

79.  Drew and digitized Unicorn patch for a club.  (I learned a LOT) on this one.

80.  More badges (about 120).

81.  Custom badge design.

I still have 6 aprons to finish.  I expect to finish the binding on two quilts and I might get to one more.

Once I do that, I will go back and look at all of your amazing projects.  Whew!

After signing up in January, I only managed to track one of the projects I completed this year, so as penance, I went through this entire thread to catch up on the wonderful crafty goodies people have been producing.

I hope this runs again for 2014 - I will be more diligent about posting the things I craft - I promise!

Before he died my dad gave me a bunch of gemstones, most of the big ones are probably grown like the large Rubies, which were my recently passed grandmother's birthstone. She died 2 weeks ago and for some reason I wanted something to mark both of their passing.
I lost track of the gemstones before we moved to this place so 19 months ago. For my b-day a friend gave me this watch locket and it was stuck at 7:37 and I was trying to figure out what to do with it when it occurred to me that if I could find the gemstones in the disaster we call a garage I could put them in it.
I have searched that garage a dozen times and it was below freezing but for some reason this time I found the gemstones....the watch is out of the locket now and the watch compartment is full of about 22 kt of rubies.
In removing the watch I caused the knob that caused the locket to open to fall off so I put a fake watch hand in brass on the chain and I use it to open it, it is like a secret because unless you shine it in the light you don't see what is in it through the crystal.
