FreakieGeekie, I'd love to teach you knitting if you taught me crochet. Too bad you don't live close by.

there is something about wearing socks you made yourself or were given by a friend...love!
You found the solution. Now, I only need to find a friend to knit me some socks. Luckily, I only wear socks to go hiking or running, I usually wear slippers( the summer ones not the at home ones).

Hi all!  I love the projects you've posted.  Your constant progress is a good motivation for me.  I've been doing the challenge on my blog and I'm at 32/50 projects. I've done a lot of pottery, some drawing, some recipes, some fiber art, etc.  Check it out if you want.  http://raeraggs.blogspot.com/2013/05/my-little-pinch-pot.html

Made my first pair of real pants!  They're the Thurlow pants from Sewaholic patterns.  Only took me a total of 5 months from cutting to done!  Tongue  Definitely going to make another pair soon though!

Time to get cracking on coil fabric bowls for a charity auction in November.

Nice job, fishstix! I've been sewing for decades but I still don't like to make pants, so I really admire your tenacity (5 months? Not bad. I've got unfinished projects I started years ago.) Grin

Thanks guys!  Cheesy kbrison, I think the key was that the Sewaholic line is already made for pear-shaped people, so I had a lot less fitting adjustments than in any of my previous attempts.

Fishstix43, I admire the pants, it's rather difficult to have them fit.

Bookstorebabe, I have a necklace made of similar beads, but not the same color of course. It is very durable. Great idea to make more.

raeraggs, the sheep's face is adorable.
