Thanks, everyone, the blood drops were a big hit!  Anything to get people to donate blood... though I really am tired of making them for a bit.  Knitting was so much easier on my hands after that...

But first, a project I finished a bit ago but never posted:

80. Tiara!  Yes, I'm still making these, and I have two more in a state of "partially finished"...

81. Knit heart for the June Summer Nerd Games Challenge!

My swap package has been received! She took great pics, so I'll link to her post. Superhero and comic fans swap.
I did a Kabuki collage on the cover of a nice blank book. Two necklaces-one has the characters from Appleseed, the other has Wonder Woman on one side, and a young Rose Red on the other. Wonder Woman barrettes, and a small box I made from a packing tape roll, an ebook cover. A few comic books, and a handkerchief purse that didn't turn out as well as it could have.
Here's a couple of pics. Young Rose Red is saying, 'if anything tried to hurt me, I'd chop it up with a sword!'

I have finished a couple of items.
First my success:
Butterick Dress Pattern 6582.  It fit well and I love the different style of bodice.

And my fail:  this wrap shirt was made from a 1970's pattern.  It ended up really short I had to add 6" to the bottom all around.  And the wrap style does not stay securely so the sides where the wrap crosses front and back ends up revealing gaping holes and thus-my bra.  This pattern is going into my  paper pile for mod podging to something.

Bummer about the shirt. Your dress is super cute though.

Two cosplay costumes for my boyfriend and I at Anime Central in Chicago.
Link to post here!

I also made my mom some bracelets for her birthday, four stretch bracelets so she can easily put them on and one chain bracelet with an easy hook closure and a charm that says "hope". The two in the middle row have large beads made from recycled glass, which I really loved.

I also just bought a ring mandrel, so I've been practicing rings out of wire. I made about 8 rings like this one below for my nieces and other ladies in my family to work on perfecting the design.

The dress is beautiful.  I love the style on you and the fabric is very flattering.   Smiley

Your dress is lovely, Plaidpineapple, to bad with the shirt. But I like the fabric. Great costumes, Helcura - it must have been fun. And I love the knitted anatomical heart, Smeddley - it looks so warm and lovely  Cheesy.
