I've not been overly productive the past couple of months but did manage to make a couple of things to add to my list Smiley
For LeapFeetFirst in the IYP 22 swap I made a couple of art pieces:

Prodigal Heart 6" x 6" canvas

Intoxicating Chronicle 4" x 4" canvas

Some collage paper cloth

Made these out of it

NorObi belt (for me!!)

oh you can hardly tell its my favourite colour right? Cheesy

The paper cloth is very fun to make, after making the base I left it on my work table for a couple of weeks and just kept adding to it whenever I felt inspired or had a spare minute.

Thanks for the encouragements on the garden.

Renstar, the cowl vest is really fitted. Were you lucky tbucket it fitted perfectly or did you have to make adjustments?
I'm sorry you will lose your garden. Maybe you will find another one, even better. You could also garden in big containers, I have a Fried who does this as he is a renter and tbucket allows him to take his plants with him. he has some pretty huge pots though, I hope I won't have to help him moving.

Inspired by all this crabby baconeness, I made my first creation of the month. I called it Kraby the Kraftster.

Wbucket do you think? Is it supercalifragilisticexpialidocious enough?

The vest was made to be fitted based on maths!!! I used the pattern, actually did a test swatch  Shocked, (well really that only happened because I realised that if I followed the sizing it was going to be masssive!!!), then reworked the stitch numbers to meet my gauge.  (Makes it sound like I knew what I was doing!!!)

As for the veg, so long as I move within the next 6 weeks, I should be fine.  I don't want to set too much going and have to carry heavy tubs.  Or even worse, have some helper drop it or break my lovingly grown plants!!

I love Kraby

Renstar, Kraby says thank you.
You made a test swatch? I don't do this anymore but seeing how well adjusted your vest is, I clearly should. Great job on reworking the number of stitches needed.
You're so right about the heavy veg tubs.

Alwaysinmyroom, I love the flowers on the prayer flag. It must have been quite a work to do it.

Missingwillow, everything with oven roasted tomatoes is yummy but your pasta dish seems uber-yummy. I'm glad I'm not your neighbor, the aroma drifting to my house would make me very hungry.

Alteredmommy, aqua is a good choice for a favorite color! i like the patchwork-leadglass look of the bookmarks. This collage paper cloth seems very fun to make and the result is attractive.

I love the paper cloth! And the shrines/altered art. And the prayer flag. And I want to reach right through the screen and grab that shrimp pasta.
As far as heavy outdoor flowerpots, here's a trick. If it's planted with something that has fairly shallow roots, fill the bottom half of the pot with packing peanuts, then fill with dirt. Really cuts down on the weight!

Wow - I swear I was only gone a day, and 7 new pages to read!  So many projects - motivating me, that's for sure.  As soon as I finish this blasted skirt I'll get a few things done... this will be the month to finish up those unfinished projects!  And this time I mean it!

alteredmommy - I adore those bookmarks!

How spoiled was I?  Absolutely LOVED everything Quaggy made for me.  The action shots of the crate covers is awesome.  Can't wait to get home and set them up. Quaggy is an amazing swap partner!
