ooooooh basket weave - looks lovely!

I've completed a couple of crafts this week (yay!)

I've used some of my handmade papers to create this re-use-able goal checklist for myself.. hopefully this will keep me on track with preparing for beginning my PGCE this September

I've also upcycled some tin cans to make plant pots, some of which are white, some are pink - so does this count towards the valentines challenge??!

As always, more detail in my blog - http://paperbeau.weebly.com/3/post/2013/02/tin-can-plant-pots.html

Me speaking to friends at a small craft party: I won't make Alex a Valentine's day card because he won't make me one.
Alex: I can live with that.

So of course I made him a Valentine's mug with a skull on it that says "I love you to the bone"
Mind you he doesn't drink coffee so I see a lot of pen holding in that mugs future....

I also made a sign for me with white and teal glitter on red paper

I finished this up this morning Smiley ehinders sent me these great frames for upcycling in the Givers & Needers swap. The one on the left is the original just so that you can see a before/after.

Now I have a great pincushion to match my craft room!

Six dishcloths, ready for posting. Two of them I'd already shared, the red spiral one and the bat one, but I thought the group shot was better than posting four single shots of the newer ones.
A cat cloth, a skull cloth, a purple square spiral, and a red, challenge qualifying, star cloth.

And I cast on for my Doctor Who scarf on Wednesday. 35 rows down, so I think I may be on track to have all 1040 rows done by the end of May, for full dissertation points in Nerd Wars on Ravelry. Is anyone else in this thread a Nerd Warrior? I'd love to know who you are! Wink
