trina, that's a great idea! I should do that, I keep buying more paint bottles because even though I know I have that color, I can never find it when I need it!

Loving the paint rack - I have to be honest and say I'm a little addicted to this stream, it's my 7.am private moment haha. So last week I managed to buy a whole carrier bag full of vintage lace doilies - at the bargain price of 50p. I have decided I'm going to combine them with sewing and knitting and make myself a funky little top - will let you All know when I'm done !

I'm doing absolutely nothing!!! Yaaaay! (will be finishing some Altered Playing Cards tomorrow for a swap)

My partner just received, so I can finally post my first painting ever!! (or 6th... I started it first, did 5 altered playing card paintings, then finished it).



It's called "After Winter, Spring" and in totally finished form: it's a flag for the flag swap.

#2-3 Mad Hatter skirt x 2
I made one in a size small & 1 in a size medium. They are store bought skirts I machine embroidered.
I liked them so much I kept one for myself


#4-7 Wonderland singlets x 4
I've kept one of these for myself too.

This looks great!  How did you get the two grids to stay apart?  Are there supports to hold them and if so, how far apart are they?

This is the link to my inspiration but instead of spools or PVC I used 4 inch long Lincoln style logs with notches that I wired the grids to...they are about 2 inches apart.

Here is a pic of my first attempt to hang them, I learned it takes 2 cupboard hooks in the center and a little ribbon to hold the bottom piece close to the wall and the top piece slightly higher up so the paints don't slip.

Ohh, I love the Alice in Wonderland stuff!  Makes me wish I could machine embroider...Like I need another craft!   Very cool color contrast too!

That paint organizer is awesome. I need one of those to organize my yarn.

I started an infinity scarf, but I don't have enough yarn. My husband was at walmart last night, and apparently he tried to call me to ask me what dye lot I needed.  I had fallen asleep. Oopps, lol this morning I had 21 missed calls.
