This is a cake i've done. I love working with icing , cause u get to eat it as u play. I use it more as a sculpture medium then food. It was made for a 4 year olds birthday. His birthday is in the next month so i wonder what i'll do next...

I'm also doing a cake for a fire twirling buddy. I'll post a picture when its done on a new topic.. well enjoy. feel free to ask anything about how its made.

Nice job. OK did you just use rolled fondant? I am making my son's bday cake for Saturday i well it is nto the cake I am worried about I got thatone under control but the clown cupcakes, I want to hollow out the center and fill with icing and make it come out of the top to forma  clown head and the icing I was going to use I am afraid won't so I am looking for somethign that will hold it's shape, but fondant won't do.  Just curious if you used that or somethign else.

Giggles To all!

yep its totally a rolled fondant job.. the parents thought it was a bit icing heavy to eat, but the kids enjoyed the extra sugar.  make sure u grab some sort of lollies. improves the taste sooooo much and can be used for many decorating things. also check out your local library for cake decorating books. im sure u will find some ideas. if you look on the net you tend to find more commercial adds and the same cake over and over and over.
