Do you think this fabric would be okay as a gift to my pastor and wife's baby? They don't know the gender so I am worried that it might be to boy-themed.
I was hoping to make a pillow or aq blanket?
Oh it is Flannel from Joann's!

I just feel so bad because I had forgotten about the shower which i realized when it was being held that day.I had no present and no one else in my family goes to my church.

I agree that it's kinda boyish but if you're thinking of making a pillow or blanket you could get a roll of pink ribbon and give half of the babies little pink bows on the curls on thier heads. Then it would be unisex and no worries Smiley Or, and this would be more expensive but nicer looking, go to the novelty button aisle and get baby girl themed buttons to sew on here and there.

i ended up making a diaper bag with it

I also put a blanket inside with a scrunchie on the strap.

The blanket was very cute because it was a quilted white fabric with different colored hand and footprints

That sounds cute! I have the same dilemma right now. I just found out my friend is pregnant and they don't know the sex yet, so I just finished a bamboo and green colored hat and I plan to make a whole little set. It's hard because it's all stuff I've never attempted before, but at least I'm learning something. I tried to make a set of booties and they came out looking like stylized cell phone cozies! I'm thinkin' I should do a blanket next Smiley

I really like the fabric!  Would you be willing to post your diaper bag???

I hope everything went well!
