I love advent wreaths. We have been making them for the past few years, they have four candles and one, then two etc..candles are lit for each of the 4 weeks of advent

I went for a walk in the woods to make this, Go to the nearest green place and harvest appropriate greenery,

the base is a twisted and wired together ring of willow from my garden, the willow should not be wrapped too tightly as you want to be able to poke the stems of other greenery in there. You could use any  other flexible twig to make the base.

on top of that is a base of pine twigs (wear gloves!!) with the bases poked into the willow, use dense dark greenery for the base layer

then holly and ivy (of course) I like a loose organic look, but you could make it with less greenery and 'tighter'

I made this in situ, so i didnt have to worry too much about things being very secure. You could wire everything into place if you wanted to hang this up somewhere.

the candles were wired and the prongs poked into place.

sorry about the fuzzy pix I think my camera has PMT

I love personal swaps,  I print a lot of random fabric, usually with no purpose in mind.  let me know if you want any of it.
