Know how to cover a small trash can that has a slight conical angle to it without creating lots of bubbles or extra paper?  If so, please help!  I'm trying to cover a small trash can w/ one piece of way cool wrapping paper, but I just CANNOT wrap the can w/ one piece of paper and mod podge w/o it getting all wrinkly and messy.  I decoupage flat surfaces and tubes quite well, but the slight cone shape of this can is giving me headaches!   This is a recycled ice cream tub (from a parlor), so I really want to make good use of it!  Please help!

The only way I can think of would be to cut the paper into long triangles or other shapes and then decoupage.

If you can't convince them, confuse them.

would watering down the mod podge a bit help?

Thanks for the tips, guys.  My fear is that I have to just cut out lots of small shapes...I'll do what I gotta do!
