My 3 yo would rather wear camo than frills, and that's awesome.  But I wanted to make her a princess dress to put in her dress up box, but also have it be something she could wear out and about as well. So I came up with this.
]

I'm really proud of it because I actually finished the edges of the purple fabric that frays really bad.

  It's my first hidden zipper.

I top stitched where ever I could.

I paid attention to the details.
.
And if I messed up I seam ripped and redid it (3 times).  I didn't use the "no onesgonna look that close to it" excuse I always do when I get rushy and lazy with the stuff I make.

I do still need to hem the skirt as its way too long right now.. but I'm excited.  She loves it and made me promise that the next time she tries it on I won't make her take it off again. Smiley

Great colour choice. My 15 year old has never been pink with frills, but this she would have loved.

Lol this is the first dress I've made her in awhile that isn't  camouflage.  Love your profile pic, Harvey.
