My brother is going to leave for college in a couple months, and I'll be moving into his room. So now that I won't be stuck with purple walls anymore, I need some help! I'm keeping the walls white, because if I get tired with the room's theme, it will be a lot easier to change. I want my room to be sort of vintage high fashion model-ish. Does anyone have ideas for bedding and room accessories that will work with this idea?

Well, here's my take on it... see if you can find vintage pin-up or pulp fiction pictures, and frame those. You'll need a vanity... if you can't afford one, use a desk and find a mirror and lighting (check out IKEA, I think they have something like that for cheap). Hot pink and black accents, maybe something with leopard or zebra print...? This is sounding less and less like "vintage model" and more and more like my dream room. Sorry about that.  Grin

Watch some movies from the 30's.  A lot of the bedrooms from that era were pretty glamorous.  May give you some inspiration.  BTW, I'm wondering where your brother is going to sleep when he comes home for holidays and such?
