I've decided on what I want to do for my second item! Yay! Should be able to send sometime this week!

And what? A receiver, and so many other senders! How efficient we all are!

Checking in...I am still working on my doll.  There is probably no need to fear that I will send out early.  I have decided on my extra.  It will be small, but in line with the doll.  I can't wait to see these items completed!

I finished the doll today. I kept going and going, now I need to stop or it won't even somewhat look like JJ-style!

My partner and my youngest son thought I had lost all my sewing abilities, hahaha! I was trying to give it that shabby, sewn by a young kid, restored-look but they just thought I had gone mad. So I showed them a few of the JJ-dolls I have on my Pinterest.

And.. they decided that I really didn't get the right look! It didn't look scary AT ALL, so they said. I tried to explain that I wasn't going for the scary look, but the more sweet and torn look, but they didn't want to hear my story.
So my youngest son draw what he thinks looks like one of the JJ-style monsters, my partner gave it the more creepy look and now they expect me to sew it!  Huh

Of course, I try to. I drew a pattern out of the sketch, sewn parts of it, but I think I really can't make anything that looks just a bit scary or creepy! To me it looks more like a weird Picasso, hahaha! But I won't give up yet! If it turns out okay, I'll send it. If not, my son will love it.  Cheesy

I have a vague idea on what to make for the small. That is if the family doesn't get involved  Wink

I won't be sending early either, ladies!

Wendie, the one I made isn't scary either, my vibe was to make it look like a favourite dolly, badly but loving repaired by an older (but not much older) sister  Grin
I don't actually know how my partner will feel about it as I haven't had any input from her but I have had great fun making and the subtly spoiling this doll  Cheesy
Gotta love family input, my hubby just shakes his head and looks bemused  Wink

No worries sullengal... Thank you for the birthday wish. I'll start the dark sister after the xmas tree comes down.
I was hoping to have a fear of sending early, as time creeps away from me I now fear I'll be on time he he.
Wendiek, my older daughter has drawn something to be made also. Lol. She did a series of jj dolls but the one she wants to make is not very jj at all. And at 5 going on 6, of course that means I will be making it. Ah well, I am fostering a new Craftster crafter, right?
Kookaloo, my hubby sits back awaiting the frantic last minute scramble that accompanies each swap I do. Yes, it will come.

Yay for summer!

My JJ doll looks more cute than creepy, but that is what Lovesclutter was after Smiley Mine is more JJ inspired that JJ.

Its funny how family has an input. Ian is always saying things/shaking his head. Adjusting or "editing" as he calls it. I just laugh.

I am currently inactive, due to being hit by a car. I will be back on once I am healed
