Indigo, she sells adult pattern of crocodile boots too. So you can make some for yourself!

Pink, I've just checked my thing and saw you mistaken my Charm class for a Care of Magical Creature Class

@pottermouth: You're so organized with your templates and whatnot! Better than me! Haha.

@Abbeeroad: Thank you!

@pinkleo: I still can never believe how quick you crochet! It's beautiful! (Oh, and thank you!)

@patty_o_furniture: Those cookies look amazing!! (Like no-bakes!) Thanks for sharing the recipes. And your lotion bars look like they turned out perfect!

@Eiseldora: That's the same sewing machine I got for Christmas! I'm in love with it (and all it's stitches!).

@FreakieGeekie: You're a quick embroiderer. It looks AWESOME. Your coworker will love it!

@MamanTattoo: Cute hat! Love the yarn! And those booties are adorable. I keep meaning to learn the crocodile stitch, I just love it.

My OWL update: I finished sewing together some more rows and adding them on. I have two more rows that are already sewn together to add to this. Then I have to cut fabric again. (I didn't buy enough the first time so I must cut fabric again sometime soon. I even had to go back to the store and buy a piece of each fabric all over again. Good thing they had some left.) I have about 10 squares of each fabric more to go I'm guessing it'll be 8 ish rows? (I don't feel like doing math.) In the picture, the quilt is being held side ways:

Wow lots of lovely creations, love the crocodile stitch booties, that is one of the patterns I would love to buy in all the sizes they all look so cool!  I love the hood/cowl thing too and a whole load of other patterns she sells too...anyway...you did a great job well done!

Love the eeyore embroidery too, it is beautiful!  And the every flavour beans hat is gorgeous a lovely reminder of Ron Weasley too in my opinion.

Wow that blanket is awesome, you are amazing!

Ok I had a bit of an idea today and I thought you might help me.

I have a favorite shoe that is cloth. I normally wear it through and then buy new ones, but now that I'm crafty I'm thinking I might sew a patch or something over the worn spot. Problem is, does anyone know how to sew on a shoe?

I'm going to try and channel my best Luna Lovegood.

Happy weekend, everyone!

Well, I just finished up breakfast/chatty time in the great hall and am clearing a path in my workspace to get up to some crafty homework.  ::Moves the coral yarn project and needles aside:: Once I've cleared enough space I'm going to get down to some fabric cutting and ironing ::Moves aside the white yarn on needles SPEW project::

Thanks for the encouragement, Pottermouth!  I'm seriously past-due on successful sewing! ::finds spot to put detention project pieces- pillow, funfur yarn on needles and matching sock yarn::

Whistlefish: those colors are fabulous and look really, really great against that wall!

Maman: Speaking of great colors, what fun yarns!

Freakie: That hoop is so sweet! great work, I'm sure the coworker is going to love it!

FiberAlchemist:  I'm so sorry to hear about your yarning adventure gone sour.  Where's the real TARDIS when you need her!?  I hope things are looking brighter today!

Jennie: Fingers are crossed for some happy progress today!

PenguinSoup: Keep that momentum up, you're doing great!  What a cool project ad you're going to LOVE it when it's done!

Paty-O: Those lotion bars look good enough to eat! Amazing results!

::Digs under loose yarn to clear tabletop, feels a jolt of motion under her:: OK, it looks like my train is leaving Procrastination Station and I'm off to Production Junction! Wish me luck!

So many pretty things! The baby hat and booties are spectacular and I love the quilt too!
I'm happy to say my coworker loved her Eeyore and had to show it to everyone who came in the store.
If you gals say I'm fast, I guess I'll have to take y'all's word for it. I have nothing to gauge by considering that I taught myself using an old Reader's Digest book.

@pottermouth: I'm not a very good teacher but I would try!

Forgive me for putting this here but I am in need of a fellow student's advice! Maman, seeing your lovely Waldorf doll made me hunt around for two "special" babies I made for my littlest ones and I noticed they were a bit dirty around the face. They have just gone through a gentle Doc Bronner's scrub with a toothbrush but I have noticed blackish spots under the knitted fabric, on the wool. Any idea on how to clean that? The picture probably doesn't show much but there are indeed spots under the skin fabric. Do you think I could soak them?
Thank you!

Class: Muggle Studies
House: Gryffindor
Project Name: Game Night Bracelet

Brief Description: I've been meaning to put this project together for a while now.  I collected all the pieces a few weeks ago, but have just been working on so many other things that I didn't get to it until this afternoon.  The Muggle games of dominoes, chess, and Scrabble are represented.  (I admit to being a bit mischievous in my placement of the Scrabble tiles.  Wink)  There are also some fun tokens thrown in, that say Moments, Excellence, Journey.

Challenge: Bertie Bott's - Earwax
House: Gryffindor
Project Name: Acorn Earrings

Brief Description: I knew that with this challenge I wanted to make myself some new earrings.  I had some lovely copper acorn top bead caps in my stash for a while, so I started with those.  The beads are topaz colored crystal, and the leaves are Czech glass.  I think I'll wear it with my Remember Who You Are Bracelet from Summer Term.  Smiley

Kiss Thank you! ......and fixed
Note to all students: Don't hesitate in PMing or posting when something is amiss.  I'll get them fixed up as soon as possible. Grin  (This does not include house points because I do have a Math Magician who checks those for me from time to time.)

I'm working on finishing some of my class & challenges (must get bean challenge done before it disappears!)....so trying not to live on interwebs today.  Will update  and OOOO&ahhhh tomorrow.  Wishing everyone a weekend full of crafty magic! Cool
