Hello lovelies!

It's been a little while since I've been on.  I've been a busy bee trying to clean up my Studio space to make way for all my current and future projects for 2017 and thought I would share a collection of concept sketches/studies that didn't quite make it past the drawing phase to the painting table for 2016.  I may come back to a few of these at a later point, but I'm completely focused on shelling out two whole series this year so time will only tell how motivated (ie - distracted Wink) I am.

A Brother's Love

Meeting of the Minds

The Night Queen

The Lookout

Three of Swords

Forest Goddess

Silent Wars

I'm hoping to have more things to share soon once I get some traction on my current projects. Smiley

Thanks a bunch for looking!

I remember you working on the goldfish one, sad that it couldn't get finished, but maybe this year. Smiley Are you doing more along the fantasy line? (like "A Brother's Love")

These are fantastic! Especially love the fish in A Brothers Love.
A brothers love could not be summed up like that in my family lol Its would be more like hair pulling! hahaha

Can someone knit me a Hobbes? I can trade painted cards, quilt blocks, mug rugs or something... Smiley Pm me if you are interested!

vkvhawk - It was like that in my house growing up too!

BeaG - Thank you so much for your kind words, they really do mean a lot. Smiley

mandit1990 - the work I'm doing right now might be more classified as the very edges of surreal, maybe?  It's hard to explain/define right now as I'm still in the early stages of developing the series.  I do enjoy fantasy work though, so maybe the next set will be tinged in a bit of magic. Wink

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

I can't wait to see some of these concepts come to life! You've done so many amazing pieces and these are all really fun and inspiring. Smiley

These are all amazing works but I love A Brothers Love the best. Very dreamy and sweet. Gorgeous works. I hope you get the time to complete them, even though they are fantastic the way they are.
