I absolutely love hearing about other people's odd dreams! I instantly imagined myself in a huge lecture hall, describing the physics of hot air ballooning! I didn't know the word "montgolfire", but it has a much better sound than "hot air balloon". I have theatre dreams all the time myself, but I'm never actually onstage. Instead, I'm usually passing through the backstage, trying to be quiet and not disturb someone else's show that's going on. I guess as I work backstage in theatre this makes sense, but it's still a bit weird that it comes up so often.

The other thing I dream about regularly is losing my shoes. I had another one a few days ago. What would Freudians make of this, I wonder?

Anyway, I hope everyone got their partners okay. I haven' heard any complaints, so I guess that means it's all okay.

I will sometimes have intense dreams but not frequently...

I think the weirdest latest dream lately was that I was strapped to a bed and put in restraints. I was wheeled into my office and told that since I hadn't done enough for the upcoming inspection I wasn't allowed to leave!

Upon waking, it was humorous but it was weird during.

As a kid I had dreams that came true weeks or months later, not very often but I did get deja vu at those times. I wish I still had them....I liked them.

Why do we loose stuff like that?

Catching up - I have several animal totems, and all of them have just presented themselves in my life in odd, but meaningful ways. Like, frog, who came in the form of a figurine misplaced in a shop.

I tend to have ridiculously vivid dreams. My favorite in the last couple of years involved a vampire telling me I am resistant to change. I woke up laughing, so much for subtle hints from your subconscious.

On swap news, I have a lot of ideas and plan to get started this week.

I had a lot of dj vu as a kid as well. I'm actually glad it stopped... It was getting very annoying (3-4 times a day when I was 10!) to the point I was thinking I was crazy. I still have them often. The most annoying thing is to have a dj of a dj vu, where I remember a different situation where I had the same dj vu before...

I often dream I'm loosing my teeth. Sometimes all of them at once, sometimes they spoil, crack and fall one by one. I hate those as they seems so real!

I know what to make for this swap Cheesy I really like repeat partners, you get to know the person very well!

Speaking of dreams.. I had my hoarding dream last night so now I'm in clean this mess up mode.  I hate having the hoarding dream.  Each time I am squished to the point of death and I wake up. My house isn't really hoardish but it does make me go in to over kill clean mode.  It drives my hubby crazy when I have that dream.
I haven't started crafting, stalking and some ideas brewing, hoping to start after Thanksgiving.

The teeth-cracking dream sounds awful, but somehow Rose's hoarding nightmare is more disturbing. I think it would make me go into a cleaning frenzy too. Of course it might be working the other way - thinking about the need to clean may trigger the dream.

One morning a few months ago, at about the anniversary of my mother's death, I was all ready to leave for work and realized I was ten minutes ahead of myself and would be have to wait for the bus. So I laid down on the bed and closed my eyes for a minute. I must have fallen asleep immediately, because I dreamed the phone rang and when I answered it and said "hello", my mom's voice on the other end of the line said "If you're going to catch that bus, you better get moving!" I woke up instantly of course and headed out the door, just in time to make it to the bus stop. Thanks, Mom!

I don't have any sort of animal totem, but then I've never looked for one. I'm sure sometimes they come unbidden if they have something very important to teach you, but I think most of the time you need to invite them. Because of my name, of course, wolves have always been peripherally in my life, but I've never considered the wolf a totem animal in the normal sense. This may just be stubbornness on my part.

So I told my boyfriend we should skip seeing each other today and boom, I get sick. No boyfriend time, no crafting time due to not being able to focus.

Hope you're feeling better, Lexy!

It's been weirdly quiet in the swap thread this week, so could everyone post just to report in? Let me know how you're all doing!

I've been proceeding in an unusual pattern. Usually I work steadily on a main project, then when I'm about to send out I think "This isn't enough on its own!" and I frantically put together a few extras to send. This time, I've had a box of extras accumulating for weeks (since before the swap, in fact) and I haven't yet started on my main thing. I know what it's going to be, but just didn't have a handle on what form it would take. But today I found some good bits in my stash, and an inspiring photo on Pinterest, so  I'm ready to go. But there are still a number of little ideas trying to get my attention, too. I think this might turn into a bottomless, Monnie-style package! Grin
