Yeah, I know it isn't Valentine's Day, but I finally finished my Love Bug Quilt, and I am too happy and too impatient to wait to share.

Each block is 5" square.  The blocks came from The New Quilting & Patchwork Dictionary by Rhoda Ochser Goldberg - a book I picked up in 1989 or so, before I made my first quilt. I just fell in love with those little insects.
I machine pieced, hand quilted it (finished while watching the tele last night).  Here are some close-ups of the the individual bugs:

They aren't perfect (some of the points got cut off) and I wish I had come up with a better border idea than just put on binding. . .  but I still like it. A lot.

This is a fantastic quilt. I really like the bugs and I really like your fabric choices.  The lack of a border gives it a very modern look!
