I love it when people take an inside joke that built up out of something completely unplanned and unexpected and keep it going and this is a GREAT example of that!

Plus....that was really thoughtful of you to warn people they could be offended.  I have "hardcore" Christian friends, a Wicca friend, a couple of Atheist friends, a Jewish friend, a few "fallen" Catholic friends, and a bunch of non-practicing but generally Christian friends and the one thing well all have in common is a mutual respect for eachother's beliefs and opinions.  Your warning shows you too have a mutual respect for others' beliefs and feelings.

Plus "Pizza for Jesus" is just freakin funny!

Kudos all around!!!

You're not going to hell any more than I am for taking the youth group kids shopping instead of to this play on an overnite a few years ago.  One girl was incredibly offended because the mannequins in the GAP were wearing thongs!

Okay, I didn't realize that Urban Outfitters had more than clothes.  I guess it was the sexually themed books that they were reading that might've gotten me in trouble...  LOL

Love your card btw...

That's just awesome. I wish I had the insight to come up with stuff like that.

The only thing that tops the story is the card - BRILLIANT! Cheesy

Hey - thanks everyone for the comments, I was sort of afraid what the responce might be.  Yes, Urban Outfitters has some pretty graphic & sexual material, just the kind of stuff youth groups LOVE.  I'm going to hate sending it on to my friend, but I've got plenty of pics.  Too much fun!

This is so funny!  What does Jesus order on his pizza, I must ask.

I'm going to hell.  This I know.

That's okay.  All the cool people are going there anyway.

If you guys are going, I wanna be there, too! Heh.

So freakin' funny! Pizza for Jesus is enough to keep me giggling all day! Hehehe

I like to think that Jesus Christ would have enjoyed a good pizza.
Beautiful execution, too.

Agreed! AND I think that He also has a sense of humor - I think He might get a chuckle out of this! Personally I don't think this is blasphemous at all - it's pretty tastefully done, in fact. And I think I'm what most people consider "hardcore" Christian. All that being said, I super appreciate that you gave a heads up that some might be offended. Very sensitive and kind of you, in my opinion.
