So my son tells me at the last minute that he's going to need a costume for a party after all. So what's a mom to do with the little that's in her house? She creates "Doctor Psycho" of course!

Luckily I had a really old pair of scrubs and an eighties white jacket that looked enough like a lab coat to pass. A reflector was made with an old CD hot glued to a fabric headband and the name tag is just a blank business card glued to a pin back.

Then the whole lot was "bloodied" with red paint a mixture of gel food colouring and water. For the photos he also posed with a butter knife "scalpel" but that stayed home with me.

And when I say this was last minute, I mean it! Had to blow dry the blood stains ten minutes before he left! Grin

There comes a time is every woman's life when she has to say to herself "What the hell was I thinking?!"

A great costume, I would never have guessed it was a last minute rush job!

Look twice, buy once. Nooooo
Look twice, decide I can make one instead.

He looks terrific!  That's a great job, especially for such a short amount of time!
