O!  I really love those.  I've always wished I could capture the sky when it looks like that- and your sky is better than one I've ever seen.

The second photo is great too- Is that guy sitting backwards on the bench?  That's such a nice image.

aww thanks guys!  i've always been an artist, but photography has always been a fun side-project, and now i got a REAL camera (digital - i had a great 35mm one, but i didn't have the time for it) and everywhere i go i find so much inspiration.  i love it!  here's one of the first pictures i took with this camera when i got it a few months ago:

Gorgeous. I've seen skies like that before. I'm glad you captured it.

The Heaven picture is completely awesome. Kinda reminds you how the bible says God has to hide his face behind a veil because of his glory. I would imagin that it would still some would shine through the veil, like the sun's brightness through the clouds! Maybe he does let us see a small glimps here and there to let us know what he has in store for us. I love the pic, and I must say dude with the hat should be a craftster's member! Your pictures are awesome, hope you're presuing something in the photography field!

thanks so much, mishy!  i actually am a graphic designer at the march of dimes (graduated from college in may '04).  photography has always been something i've loved, but i specialize in illustration.  i have a decent amount of 35mm photography on my site (www.ashleyhenderson.com), but i haven't had the time to edit, resize, and add my digital work to the site yet.  your comments really made my day Smiley

What a great moment you captured! how beautiful.

Is that native american pride? or maybe Mexican (I'm not sure how that would be worded) at an African American pride festival?

Do you plan on becoming a photojournalist?

Edit: I just read your other posts on here.
Congrats on getting a cam and hopefully following your love for photography!
Photography has always been something I've loved and now I'm finally learning so much about it and testing the waters too.
can't wait to see more from you! Smiley
