As a dutiful SCA member, I'm obsessed with everything medieval, and this would be a great swap to make my first! I am extremely interested.

Count me in!  I am always up for making more ancient crafty stuff.

Here's the deal:  I just finished some swaps, and I'm getting into a new one that starts this weekend.  Once I know for sure how much time/$ I need to set aside for that swap, I will decide what to do about starting this one.

If you have strong opinions on when this swap should run or how it should be organized, please feel free to post them.

Gave it some more thought, and here's the deal:  I will organize this one.  I will run it now instead of waiting - we can also do a second one later, if there is interest.  The catch is this - I'm going to limit sign-ups to 12 people.  That way, it won't be as complicated for me to handle as a first-time organizer, and also we can get going faster, once we reach a dozen participants.

I will PM all of you who responded here so that you can get a jump on signing up, if you want to.

Here's the link to sign up:

Can I entice anyone else to join us?  We have 7 signed up, with space for 5 more.  The last day for signups will be Wednesday, 7/13, so that I can get assignments out on 7/14 before I leave on a trip.

We have SCA members, many faire-goers, and a couple of people just interested in medieval history.  If you want to join us, please let me know asap!!

I could really use one more swapper - at the moment, we have 11, which means that three crafters will have to form a "swap loop," where you send to one person but receive from another.  I would prefer to have everybody matched in one-on-one partnerships.

GreenWhimsy, SewMuch4Kids, kat_penguino, are any of you still interested?

I'm always up for Personal Swaps! I can knit and sew. What can you do? Let's trade!

It's currently set for August 17, but I'm cool about extending a smidge further if needed.

We have our dozen, and the swap is now closed.  Thanks, everybody!
