I have hundreds, literally hundres of small plums and I would like to stain an oak shadow box im making with the juice from the red plums. any suggestions?

Vinegar when you're done? Vinegar is funny; it's great for cleaning stuff, but it also helps preserve colour... Maybe make a vinegar/plum puree to use as a paint?
