I made this tractor for my 3 year old nephew who is OBSESSED with tractors and cars. He has one of those motorized John Deere tractors that he rides around on in the back yard, and that was the inspiration for this little crochet guy.

I had some trouble making the body square up, so I ended up running strings from one side to the other (on the inside) to sort of give it an infrastructure. It was slightly awkward to stuff, but all in all it came out pretty cute. =)

Also, I wasn't sure whether or not to put eyeballs/headlights on it, but I sent out a text message survey, and most people said yes. So 20 minutes before I was to leave for the party I frantically cranked out some eyeballs and a little smile.

Ready for the bag. =)

Thank you! It was a lot of "figuring out", but ultimately I was happy with how it came out =)
