I live to learn new crafting techniques!

Here are a few other decorated tins that I made.

This one is for my friend Laura. She loves classical music (we sing in the same choir), so when I found a piece of scrapbooking paper with the score for our national anthem the 'Wilhelmus' I knew I had to use it!   (especially since we had just performed a four part arrangement of it when we went on an exchange trip to Copenhagen) I don't think it's that obvious though Wink

I had just bought a musical themed poststamp set, so this was a perfect opportunity to use it. You can see Albert Einstein playing the piano, and Beethoven.

My first try at working more 3-d:

The polymer clay rose I made a few years ago.I painted it gold and stuck it on top of an ornament. The tin is covered in silk paper that I crumbled up, smoothed out and mounted on thicker paper. And then added a coat of gold paint of course Wink

This last tin was for my friend Maaike, who likes fairytales and fairies.

I loved this tin so much I almost couldn't bear to give it away Sad

I really liked making these tins, and look forward to making lots more (and experimenting with different techniques)
Hope you like!

I especially love the last tin.  I see why you had a hard time giving it away.
