I just realized I never posted this! I made this little mini quilt for a Relay for Life auction my friend alteredmommy was working on. I used some of my favorite fabrics from the Flora and Fauna line. This is probably the first project that I did entirely improv, just stitching as I went with no ultimate plan of how it would turn out. I tried to keep a little continuity by putting using the thin white borders and connecting everything with the yellow dots. For the words I freehand wrote the letters and then stitched slowly using my machine.

This was an awesome addition to our Relay auction and the lady who won it was so happy!  I especially loved the "Hope" and "Believe" stitched words, cause that is what Relay is all about!
