So glad you loved everything karwash! I had a lot of fun making everything for you here's hoping for the cold weather!

I also received from karwash today and it really was a box full of awesome! I've taken the pics but the old laptop is struggling with doing anything but should be getting new one tomorrow so will hopefully get pics up then!

i love this. The simplicity and the message.

yellow sloths make me smile.

beaded bracelet and i love swapping because THIS fits!  And i just cant get that in mass produced stores. Smiley

tree of life earring and necklace... Again.  Yellow beads.  My fav.

And last but not least.    a tote bag with a weeping angel... We just watched "the angels take manhattan" llast night.  And hub has, well not quite 'forbidden' me to make anything angel related but suggested they creeep him out...  This tote will be perfect to fit in my purse.

Thanks so much for swapping.

I received a lovely package from the wonderful and talented Molliemoo2883.
*I apologize for the image quality. The light was uncooperative today.*

Group shot:

Closeup of the tote with felted flowers plus a snippet of the scarf. The scarf is a soft (cotton jersey?) circle scarf. I love the colors!

Nautical headband. So cute and fun! Plus a domino Alice pendant and 2 super neat fused glass pendants. The little green one is just my style! I love it!

I <3 NY glycerin soap. And I think the others are (please correct me if I'm wrong), 2 homemade glycerin star soaps and 2 round lotion bars. I can't wait to try them out!

Some pretty blue and gray roving to play with and a skein of handspun! The handspun is super pretty with shades of turquoise and like a wine color.

Thank you so much for everything, Molliemoo2883! I love it all!

wonderful messenger bag. This is just my style, and all of my work stuff has been put into it, ready for my shift this afternoon.

check out all those pockets!

Oh, my! this hoop is absolutely adorable. Just need to find the perfect place to hang it.

little pincushion that A2K made with a cereal box and string and fabric!

leg warmers/boot socks. Love the colour of these! The yarn was hand dyed with walnut shells.

padded clutch things. My Acer tablet is already in the large one! Perfect fit!

some extras. Love the card with the picture over the old book page!

A Michigan magazine, postcards, and a magnet. I can't wait to finish this uni assignment, and then I will get the chance to look through the magazine.

and last, but not least, is some choccies and chewing gum. The gum is in my new work bag, ready for tonight!

Thankyou so so much A2K, this is a perfect package for me! I absolutely love everything in it.......

You guys have all been making such awesome stuff! I'm not jealous at all though, because just look at what arrived in my post office box today!

Everything was all wrapped up in brown paper and string, along with this awesome card -

It was all very steampunkish, which of course I love! Then I began to unwrap things, and I found...

This awesome d20 hoop! A few months ago my boyfriend and I, and some of our friends, began playing Dungeons & Dragons. We're not very good at it yet, but we're all pretty addicted. And even worse, I just can't stop buying sets of dice (they're so pretty). This hoop will be an awesome contribution to my wall and so fitting too.

There was then this amazing hand-bound leather journal. It's so cool! I don't know what I want to write in it, yet, but I bet I'll come up with something... I always do.

Then I started unwrapping BAGS! I love bags. Look at the awesome stuff charlieandwillow put on them for me:

And in the long and thin package, something totally unexpected -

Wands! They're actually really amazing, and the picture does NOT do them justice. Maybe I should take one to work and use it against some especially nasty customers...

I left the biggest, heaviest parcel til last (of course) - and it was a book!

A big, heavy book. But I hadn't heard of it, and I was a little confused about why she sent it to me... until I noticed that the pages were glued together, and I opened it up, and...

I got a hollowed book with a ray gun in it. You can't beat that, you guys.

Isn't it awesome? I'm super impressed. It will go perfectly with my steampunk outfit too, although I need a second holster now (like there's such a thing as too many guns!).

So many excellent things in this parcel - no wonder it cost you so much to send! I love everything. I only hope that my package to you arrives soon and that you love it even half as much Cheesy

Glad you like your package, nessnbel!  The card with the sea turtle on print was made by underthemountain (formerly known as atsuko) -- I claimed it in the Shop the Swap (STS)!  The walnut dyed yarn I used on the leg warmers was dyed by ptarmic wumpus, also in the STS!  Looking forward to receiving from you as well!

btw, the  Shop the Swap Winter Market would love to welcome new swappers!  Come check it out!!!!

Queenofmarigold, I am SO glad everything reached you unmolested!  Wink I have to admit I am pretty darn proud of everything in that package, although I did have to have a small chuckle to myself when I saw karwash's parcel from just-heidi with the tote and journal combo... I had so much fun making for this swap, pretty much everything was a new technique for me so it was really fun to experiment. I totally used the wrong kind of paint on the tote bags (note to self: spraypaint bleeds under freezer paper stencils) but they were still too cute not to include. I'm so happy you like everything... now to wait for the mailman to bring me goodies from australia...
