Unfortunately, I'm unable to take/post photos, but by now I'm GREAT at descriptions!
No worries! Your encouraging words were a wonderful addition to last years' craftalong, and I look forward to your descriptions as well!

cool!  Grin i'll try not to go over board lol

Ha! Well... we'll see Wink I understand what you mean though, sometimes when I start taking progress pics, I start to feel like every single little step is terribly important.

Here's hoping we get lots of participants like last year. I'm really looking forward to it...

I, 2kids2craft4, do hereby pledge to make homemade gifts for 2012-2013, whether or not they are appreciated!   Tongue

I've heard whispers of a new photo upload system, so hopefully that won't be too far in the future and I can post more pictures. (I keep having issues with uploading, I feel like I'm on dial-up!)

I, Eiseldora, pledge to make at homemade gifts for my family back home in Indiana throughout the course of the 2012-2013 Year of Homemade Gifts Craftalong.

I have many family members and I've gathered their shirt sizes, and favorite colors. I also have the cutest niece who I really want to make homemade items for her, but haven't made anything since her birthday in March.

I even ordered supplies which arrived yesterday.

My goal is to knit a washcloth and maybe a Poof for all the females, Make a Stenciled/stylized shirt for everyone, and customize a dollar store mug.

Excited to make things for everyone, especially if I get to fly back home for the holidays and give them to everyone

I just finished two more scarves for my students, which makes the total fifteen, slightly under halfway there.  Not bad, considering that I only worked on them sporadically. I made one item for a personal swap I am in that includes gifts being made for my kids.  I also signed up for the Twelve Days of Christmas swap, the big one, and partnered with the AWESOME Quaggy!  We have swapped before, so she is aware of my family's tastes in things. She is also so talented at so many crafts!  She is also always so thankful for whatever she receives, so that is a great plus, as well.

I, Painted Sparrow, pledge to make as many homemade gifts as possible for my friends & family during the 2012-2013 Homemade Gift Craftalong. At minimum, this should include a small handcrafted gift for each occasion/recipient, though the ideal would be to craft as much as possible, if only to supplement other purchased gifts. Smiley

I will be starting to put together my winter holiday to-do lists over the next couple of days. I'm very excited to start working on stuff. I just need to come up with some awesome ideas! lol

I need ideas! My family draws names for Christmas, exceptions being any kids and my parents. But if I get one of the coffee drinkers, I figure I can make a big batch of biscotti. But I'd like to add something else to that, either hand made or store bought. What-besides a mug-would go along with that?
