So DH frat buddy got married over the weekend. I wanted something that would be meaningful to them. I hope they like it! I don't know if they opened gifts yet so I haven't heard anything back on it.

on the bed in the hotel. yup i finished it the morning of the wedding!

I love this blanket so they should Adore it!!!  Talk about cutting close to a deadline.  Not sure if I have that amount of confidence in myself to finish on time. LOL

Wow! Lovely! Did you use a pattern? I always love those tree of life knitted afghans but know I don't have the patience to knit one. This might be feasible! In baby size. A small baby.

I can say with utmost certainty that they loved it!  That must have taken forever to make - it looks gorgeous.

I wish I had more crafty friends to do something like this for me.  But maybe like raennn said maybe I hint to get it as a baby present eventually.

I used the pattern off of the Lion Brand site. I did change it to make it bigger. The pattern on the site is only 3 trees wide and two rows of trees and one of the flowers in the middle. DH wanted it bigger so bigger I went!
